The movement has been developed and produced independently within the workshops of the brand. It provides an innovative second timezone function due to a patented mechanism. As all Breitling movements, Breitling Caliber B04 is chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).

To adjust the watch to the time and date of the new timezone, the watch wearer simply pulls out the crown and turns it forward or backward in one-hour increments. The watch continues to provide a 24-hour home-time indication, maintaining supreme precision in terms of the minutes.
